Conference Animation for BAI

In collaboration with IC Media, Myjive produces a series of keynote animations for this year’s BAI Retail Delivery Conference and Expo.

Opening the stage for internationally recognized business innovators and leaders such as Colin Powell, John Allison and Anne Mulcahy, these brand-centric animations laid the groundwork for BAI’s “Return to Innovation” theme. The BAI Retail Delivery Conference & Expo cultivates new thinking and innovative solutions aimed at helping organizations thrive through an economic crisis. Myjive expanded upon BAI’s use of gears as a metaphor for progressive thinking.

Images of gears saturated the scene at the Orlando Convention Center. We have seen this metaphor before in the context of engineering and mechanics, yet BAI utilized this icon as a symbol for connectivity. Many parts working together to power progress. Networking and collaborative learning is the centerpiece of this conference as it plays a huge role in moving business forward.

Based on initial concepts and script from Free Associates, Myjive produced several three-minute graphic animations. Utilizing a photo-montage aesthetic, these short narratives explored the progression of the wheel, historical thinkers of great significance, and typographic messages aimed to inspire. Teaming up with production partner IC Media, the final composites were displayed on BAI’s impressive multi-screen stage setting the foundation for each day of the event.
